BOUNCE HOUSE SETUP SITE

Set up and tear down of our bounce house rentals is included in the rental cost of every bounce house rental.  We arrive to set up and return to tear down all inflatable units which - for most units - will take about 30 minutes to complete. Larger units may require up to 40 minutes for each set up and tear down.

 

  1. Path to Setup Location.  All of our inflatable bounce house rentals are over-sized, heavy items which weigh between 150 lbs and 400 lbs, depending on the unit.  All inflatables must be delivered and picked up using a dolly.  In order to accommodate passage of the dollies and inflatable units, the path to the desired set up location must be flat, level, unobstructed and at least 3 ft wide to allow passage of the inflatable unit.  The path must be at least 4 ft wide for larger units such as the inflatable obstacle course, inflatable slide and inflatable water slide and pool.
  2. Clearance Required.  Most of our inflatable bounce houses must have enough space to allow a minimum 3 ft clearance on all sides of the inflatable setup. All bounce houses or inflatables require a flat, level, unobstructed land area free from debris, rocks, sticks, branches and animal feces. All inflatable units also require a clear vertical height free from branches, wires, cables, eaves, ceilings or other obstacles.   The actual size of clearance that these units require are specified in their individual listings. It is the Renters responsibility to measure the intended bounce house setup location and make sure that the selected inflatable unit will fit in the location.  There will be no refunds if we arrive to set up the bounce house but the delivery property does not have a flat, clean and unobstructed location available for the setup.​
  3. Power Required.  Depending on the required number of blowers for the selected inflatable unit, one or two air blowers will be delivered and set up to blow air into the inflatable unit. ​Each air blower requires a grounded electrical outlet to work properly.   Please make sure that the outlet you intend to use is on a dedicated 20 amp breaker and that no other unnecessary items are plugged into the same circuit. If the power outlet you intend to use to power the blower for the inflatable unit is more than 6 feet away from the bouncer setup location, please have a 3-prong outdoor extension cord that is long enough to reach your power source ready on delivery. If you do not have one available to use, please add one to your rental.

BOUNCE HOUSE SAFETY RULES

To ensure the safest time in a bounce house, we ask that all of our customers adhere to the following bounce house or inflatable structures safety rules.  If you will be renting a bounce house from us, please make anyone who wishes to enter the inflatable unit aware of these safety rules.  

 

  1. The Renter of the inflatable unit is required to supervise all persons in and around the inflatable unit during the rental period.  If the Renter is not able to supervise persons in the inflatable unit during use, the unit must be turned off and no persons should be allowed in or around the unit. 
  2. The total weight of people that can safely enjoy the inflatable unit, slide or obstacle course at the same time is directly related to the size of the unit.  The weight approved for the unit you select will be stated in the items listing.  Please do not exceed the total weight limits as that may damage the inflatable and lead to injury.
  3. Persons in the inflatable unit at the same time should be of similar age, weight and height. Ex: Adults and older children should not ride or jump with younger children at the same time as this can result in injury.
  4. No persons under 3 years of age are allowed in any inflatable unit unless the unit is specifically designed for their age group.  Children ages 3 - 6 must only be allowed in with adult supervision and with children of the same size.
  5. Persons with mental or physical impairment should not be permitted in the inflatable unit, slide or obstacle course. This includes those under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  6. The inflatable unit MUST BE securely anchored at all times. DO NOT move the inflatable unit from the area where it is set up by our delivery person or team.
  7. To avoid neck and back injuries, flips, wrestling, piling, somersaults or rough play are not allowed.
  8. There is absolutely NO silly string, gum, candy, food, drink, water or sticky substances allowed in the inflatable unit. If upon pick-up cleaning of such prohibited items is deemed necessary, the Renter will be charged a $100 cleaning fee. 
  9. NO eyeglasses, jewelry, sharp objects, glass objects or toys that may cause injury or damage to persons or the unit are allowed in the inflatable unit.
  10. NO pets are allowed in the inflatable unit at any time.
  11. Children or adults with long hair should tie their hair before entering the inflatable unit.
  12. NO pulling on the nets or tipping over of the inflatable unit is allowed.
  13. Keep people and liquids away from the blower(s) at all times.
  14. If weather conditions are not safe for operation and use of the inflatable unit (e.g. rain, snow, high winds), all persons must exit immediately and the blower(s) must be turned off.
  15. All entrances and/or exits to the inflatable unit must be kept clear of obstructions at all times.

Yes, we do have the manufacturer insurance for any malfunctioning of our products. ADULT SUPERVISIONS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIME.

What if the blower suddenly went off?

Get everyone out of the jumper IMMEDIATELY. Check and perform the followings: (1) Check the connection from the outlet to the extension cord to the blower, (2) Check circuit breaker if it trips, (3) Check the two air pipes on the back of the jumper for any holes, rip, leaks, (4) Call us immediately.

Does the blower need electricity?

Yes, but we will provide a 100 foot extension cord. You will need a standard 110 volt outlet near where you like the jumper to be set up. If no outlet is available, we do have generators for your convenience to rent.

How long does it take to set up and take down?

Our setup and take down usually take about 15 minutes by our experienced employees.

Can you set up on the slanted driveway?

Yes, so as long as your driveway is a size of two car garage width. We secure our jumpers with sandbags.

Do you deliver to my area?

Jules Bounce World have several warehouses in Houston areas to accommodate our customer's demand. Please call us to ensure the delivery in your area.

How much room do I need?

Our standard jumper is approximately 13x13. The room should be at least between 15 ft. to 15 ft. perimeter.

Do you set up in parks?

Jules Bounce World do set up in parks. You need to contact the park in advance to determine the requirements needed to set up. We do have generators available. $50 deposit will be required and NO refund if cancelled.

How many children can use the jump safely?

Jules Bounce World jumps are equipped with safe stepping platforms for children to access in and out of the unit. Most of our jumps can accomodate anywhere from 8 to 10 children (under the age of twelve) at a time. Please note that the older and larger the guest(s) is/are, the risk of overcrowding and injury will be greater. SUPERVISIONS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIME!

What if the water gets into the jumper? What should I do?

All jumpers have draining system at all four corners. All you need to do is use a dry towel and push water toward the four corners to get the water out of the jumper. Make sure the jumper is dry before letting your kids jump.

Do you deliver on holidays?

Yes, Jules Bounce World will not only deliver on holidays, but EVERYDAY! We do have specific theme for each holiday.

How far in advance do I need to reserve?

We recommend if you have important schedule event to reserve at least 2 or 3 weeks in advance. You can, however, call us at anytime to check the availability to ensure that you will be guaranteed to get the party theme that you like.

Is there CANCELLATION FEES?

YES, once we confirmed the reservation with you, we are obligated to provide you with the product you ordered. Therefore, there will be a $50 cancellation fees apply to any products you reserved UNLESS it is due to rain. No EXCEPTIONS.

Do we have to put a deposit?

No, but we do require that you provide us with a credit card to hold your reservation.

What time do you deliver & pick-up the jumper?

Our normal delivery schedule is from 8:00 am and pick-up schedule at anytime. We also will accomodate with our customer's flexibility schedule. The delivery window time is 1 hour from your scheduled time and pick up window time is 2 1/2 hour.

How do I know that you'll show up?

Jules Bounce World will always confirm your order at the time you place your order on line or over the phone. In addition, we will call you a day before your event to confirm.

Are your jumpers safe and clean?

Yes, Jules Bounce World provides safe and clean jumpers to our clients. Our jumpers are santizied on a weekly base and deliver to our clients with satisfaction. This is Jules Bounce World #1 priority, SAFE AND CLEAN JUMPERS!

What if my house is on an private road, or 1 lane road would Jules Bounce World deliver?

NO, we will not deliver. (YOU MUST DISCLOSE TO US AT THE TIME YOU MAKE THE RESERVATION). If not, we will charge you $100 and will NOT setup.

What if my setup area have steps going UP or DOWN, INCLINE OR DECLINE slop (irregular setup area)?

NO, we will NOT setup (YOU MUST DISCLOSE TO US AT THE TIME YOU MAKE THE RESERVATION). If not, we will charge you $100 and will NOT setup. If you do disclose to us, there will be $10 per step. The $10 per step does NOT apply to steps or stairs that are steep. Jules Bounce World will determine the fee after seeing the picture of the steps/stairs.

What if the driver asks for tip?

You do NOT have to tip them if you think they do NOT deserve it. You don't need to feel uncomfortable with this issue.

Should I tip the driver?

Yes, it is customary to tip the drivers, but it is never obligatory. You should only tip them if you think they deserve it.

How many hours of rental do I get?

Jules Bounce World gives 7 hours of rental total. If you need more time or late pickup, feel free to contact us directly so we could accommodate with your schedules.

Will Jules Bounce World setup if it is heavy rain?

No, due to safety issue. Jules Bounce World has the right to cancel if it is heavy rain.

What if it rains?

If it sprinkles, all jumpers will have covers. Once the jumper has been set up, there will be NO refunds. If it is heavy rains, we will not deliver due to safety reasons.

Will Jules Bounce World setup if my setup area has dog poop?

Yes, we will setup ONLY if the setup area is clear of dog poop. Otherwise, we will charge you $100 for cleaning.

Can we use Silly Spring Spray (sticky spray) or water inside the jumper?

NO, it will damage the unit. There will be a penalty charge ($100 or more) depend on the seriousness of unit damage.

Do you issue REFUNDS if the venue(parks, recreation center, community center, etc.) will not allow jumper after the setup has been done?

NO, once the jumper has been setup, there will be NO refund. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the place and make sure they allow the jumper to be setup and that we are on their approved list of vendors. Also, it is the customer's responsibility to obtain the permit.

Can I change my setup area after the jumper had already been setup?

YES, but there will be a $40 charge. Please make sure you know exactly where you like the jumper to be setup.
